Virginia-based insurance broker, The Hilb Group (THG) has completed the purchase of MDM Covenant Insurance (MDM), a Brentwood-based insurance brokerage firm.
Founded by Chris Meadows in 2008, MDM serves quick serve restaurant (QSR) industry with a nationwide customer base.
The company also offers general insurance brokerage services to local businesses with specialties in higher education, professional services, real estate and financial services sectors.
THG president and chief executive officer Robert Hilb said the MDM professionals will add the specialties and skills to the company's enterprise, in addition to strengthening its southeastern geographical footprint.
"MDM will continue to operate in Nashville under Chris Meadows' leadership and in Atlanta under Drew Meadows' leadership and we are excited to welcome such experienced insurance professionals in THG," Hilb added.
