Milwaukee, WI (November 21, 2014) – The Cabinet Makers Association has taken on a supporting role in the first Design & Construction Week, a new venture resulting from the co-location of the annual International Builders’ Show and the Kitchen & Bath industry Show.

The event, set to take place February 4-6, 2014 in Las Vegas, is expected to bring more than 70,000 residential construction and design professionals in contact with 1,500 booths covering an estimated 600,000 square feet of exhibit space.

Last January, the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) announced an agreement to co-locate the two trade shows effective next year.

One Pass, Separate Halls

Under the arrangement, each show will occupy a separate hall. One pass will provide access to both exhibit halls, along with exhibits of a third show, the International Window Coverings Expo, according to organizers.

NKBA and NAHB will continue to produce separate educational programming and special events at their respective shows.

The International Builders' Show features building products and services for light construction. The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show showcases industry products, trends and technologies.
