Visitors to IBC2015 will be the first to see SiliconCore’s Lavender 1.2mm LED display presented in a striking 4K resolution formation. Taking place from 11th – 15th September at the RAI in Amsterdam, SiliconCore has teamed up with mounting solutions specialist Mode-AL, who is launching its new LED monitor stack, on booth 10A38.

The 220” diagonal display will be a captivating addition to the booth, presenting information in the finest of detail, ideal for close proximity viewing applications. SiliconCore’s exclusive and patented Common Cathode method of driving the LEDs, replacing the traditional Common Anode, is ideal for broadcast applications as specialised circuitry eliminates ghosting and the ultra fine pixel pitch of the LED reduces moiré effects.

This will be displayed on Mode-AL’s new LED monitor stack, also debuting at the show. This fourth generation design revolutionises the model by creating one single physical desk top of 3840x1080 pixels, or customised as required. Compatible with all multiviewers this gives the MCR the ultimate flexibility in determining how the production workflow is displayed.

Laila Hede Jensen, VP of Europe at SiliconCore explains:

“Our revolutionary Common Cathode driver method has made LED and its benefits accessible to the broadcast market for a number of reasons. The increased viewing angle of 160° ensures that during pans and camera zooms, the content remains solid with no blurring or moiré, so more extensive and creative backdrops can be applied. The flexible colour temperature settings, from 11,000 - 2,800 Kelvin, results in accurate colour reproduction between those on screen and those in the studio, perfect for live correspondence displays.”

Ralph Zaraiah, Head of Sales at mode-AL comments:

“The LED Monitor stack provides ultimate flexibility for the user and systems integrator alike with its height and width configurable in simple modular steps, a stack can be configured to the requirement of the system and be enlarged at any point to accommodate new requirements.”

Mode-AL will be showing the MV-Brix Type L Monitor stack.
